Synthesis, characterization and USW sensor of PEO/PMMA/PVP doped with zirconium dioxide nanoparticles

The piezoelectric phenomena uses in various helpful applications, such as printing of inkjet, the detection sound and production high voltage electricity different electronic devices. In present research, polyethylene oxide (PEO), poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) poly(N-vinyl pyrrolidone) (PVP) were separately dissolved deionized water. These polymers mixed with ratio 0.6:0.2:0.2 wt%, respectively before loaded 0.0, 0.02, 0.04 0.06 wt% zirconium dioxide nanoparticles (ZrO2NPs) via casting method to prepare nanocomposite (NCs) films. optical microscope (OM) showed good diffused NPs into matrix homogenous distribution. functional groups k1 specimen diagnosed Fourier transformation infrared (FTIR). ultrasonic wave (USW) properties studied for frequencies (25, 30, 35, 40 45) kHz. USW coefficients clearly affected by frequency varied. decreased increasing except compressibility. dielectric constant sample was notable improved up 85% applied load. succeeded be used sensor. New NCs film presented promising material wide electrical mechanical applications.
